Christmas Offering
The in-laws were in town for Christmas, and so for the first time, I cooked Christmas dinner.
Broccoli and Potato Soup, w/ Mint and Bacon
Caesar Salad, w/ Potato Croutons The piece de resistance - Roast Turkey w/ Pancetta, Minced Pork and Dried Apricots Stuffing
Molten Chocolate Babycakes, served w/ ice-cream and blueberries
it didn't taste burnt - u want it a bit golden and crispy mah. The breast skin looked burnt and crispy but the breasts were fine; Jamie recommended putting the stuffing between the breast and skin, so that really stopped the breasts from being dry.
I was very hesitant in cooking a turkey - but my FIL doesn't take lamb (was gonna make lamb shank pies), so mah try-lorr...
Don't think I'll be so hardworking once I go back to work!
